Summary: I was solely responsible for the frontend architecture and implementation of the loan underwriting workflow automation tool (Bank Statement Analyzer - BSA tool), while working at SmartBiz Loans. The app assisted the staff underwriters in determining the credit worthiness of the applicants by automating the calculation of various key financial metrics. Using this tool resulted in 65% reduction of the loan processing time. The application, written in React, consumed RESTful and Graph APIs to communicate with Python backend systems and SQL databases, and used CRUD persistent storage methods.
